Vintage Alvar Aalto “Tea Trolley 900” c. 1960s
Vintage ‘Tea Trolley 900’ designed in 1937 by Aino and Alvar Aalto for the World Exhibition in Paris. Increasing difficult to get here in the US, the trolley features a white ceramic-tiled top and has an attached rattan basket. The frame is made from a bent birch ply and the wheels are lined with rubber to give it a smooth ride. This example dates from the 1960s and is in very nice vintage condition.
